After much research, I bought the Asus Eee PC 1000 netbook HE. I wanted a small laptop to use for travel, take notes in meetings, e-mail and research network. The Asus is marginal. The Asus is easy to travel with because of its size and the e-mail works great. However, the keyboard is too small to take notes accurately. To make matters worse, I bought the suite of Microsoft, which was loaded on netbooks. Now, every time I open Word, I get a message that I need to buy Microsoft's new suite. This interferes with my note at the beginning of the meeting.

I would probably be happier with my purchase and my wife had purchased a Toshiba netbook few weeks later. (It was not available at the time of my research.) Toshiba her I used to teach that everything works as it should. The keyboard is bigger, the Netbook you watch the videos of the network in a continuous stream, not an end view of the Asus I have, and has no fingerprints on the site. Finally, he bought the suite Microsoft Costco for much less than what I paid, and not asked every time they are used for the repurchase.

I recommend the Toshiba.
